2016 Classical Saxophone Graduate of Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, Bethany has gone on to become an international woodwind player, regularly performing in venues across the UK and Europe.  Recently debuting Ian Stewart’s composition of ‘Should Incidentally Fall’ with percussion at Blackheath Halls, Bethany has become an extremely versatile artist excelling in classical, jazz, pop and musical theatre.

Originally from Basingstoke, Bethany started her musical career at primary school learning flute and saxophone.  She then went on to achieve a Hampshire Music Service Scholarship and win a place on the specialist music course at Peter Symonds College in Winchester.  At the age of 17 she performed Glazunov’s Saxophone Concerto with Orchestra at Southampton University.

After accepting a place at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2012, Bethany performed at a number of venues including Cadogan Hall, Grand Designs Live at the Excel Centre, Blackheath Halls and The Painted Chapel in Greenwich as a soloist, member of the 365 Saxophone Quartet and orchestral member.  She received excellent tuition under the care of Mel Henry, Gerard McChrystal and Mick Foster.

Now, Bethany is a keen doubler often performing in the pit bands of Musicals across Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey and London.  She currently is a member of the 40 Fingers Saxophone Quartet who will be performing at Carfest in 2019 and regularly performs as a soloist at weddings and private events.  Alongside her performance opportunities, Bethany is a private music teacher providing individual and group lessons in schools and at home to both children and adult learners.
